Oreki has this look where it's like his body can't quite decide whether it's through with puberty or not: skin, bones, and long, lanky limbs. Eat-a-sandwich jokes were made for this kid. He's got some decent muscle ( which is completely fuckin weird but okay ) so I'd call him wiry before skinny, but it isn't his appearance that catches. Mind, he isn't unattractive (please he's made of beautiful KyoAni pixels. Gandhi would hit that.) - just easy to overlook. His facial expressions doesn't demand much attention.
DEADPAN SNARKER YOU KNOW HOW HE DO. Basically he speaks as though half-asleep: low and often in monotone. This isn't to say he's poorly spoken because on the contrary, his vocabulary is more than passable. Unless he's put on the spot, uncomfortable, or straight up forced out of nowhere, he can actually communicate his thoughts clearly and concisely. It just isn't often he can be bothered enough to do so.
OLFACTORY:
He smells like a teenage boy okay. Body wash, manly shampoo, mechanical pencil lead, and books.
DEMEANOR:
Unless he has a reason to speak, he probably won't. And unless he's working an angle, he can be quite informal - even with strangers of significantly higher social ranking. Polite questions? No. Mindless chatter and small talk? Don't count on it. He's not mean spirited. For the most part he simply acts in ways that will cause the least trouble in the long run, and he's more likely to respond to things in his head than out loud anyway. Also not a big fan of honourifics.
